The dry tarmarind

Sometimes, life teaches us through the simplest things.
Today, it spoke to me through tamarind fruit.
On the outside, the tamarind was rough, brittle, and cracked. Its once-strong shell had weakened with time. When I broke it open, I expected the familiar rich pulp inside.
Instead, fine dry powder spilled out a ghost of what it once was, no longer edible, no longer nourishing.
And yet, it told a powerful story.
Life is much like this tamarind.
We walk through years building layers to protect ourselves  layers hardened by experience, by heartache, by time. From the outside, we might seem tough or broken. But inside, the truth is deeper.
Sometimes, we carry sweetness, full of hope and energy, ready to nourish and share.
Other times, what remains inside us feels like dust , memories of dreams that faded, ambitions that withered, or seasons that simply passed by.
The dry powder within the tamarind is not a failure; it is a silent witness to life lived.
It reminds us that not everything inside us will remain forever ripe. Some parts must fade. Some stories must end. Some seasons will leave behind only lessons.
And yet, even in this dry, uneatable form, the tamarind still holds seeds  seeds full of possibility, silently waiting for a new beginning.
In life, too, we are never truly empty.
Beneath the dust of our broken moments, there are always seeds of hope, strength, and rebirth.
Life is not only about what we lose; it is about what we are still capable of growing.
