The lights from homes in the hills always shine softly at night, a sight that feels calm and familiar. But during Diwali, there’s something different in the air a quiet excitement that blends beautifully with the stillness around.
From my balcony, I can see the slopes below dotted with warm, glowing lights. The cool breeze carries the faint sound of laughter and the distant crackle of fireworks. Lamps flicker gently on windows and terraces, adding their golden glow to the already beautiful view.
This year, we lit some crackers on our balcony, just a small celebration with family. The sparks flew into the night sky, blending with the lights from homes around us, and for a moment, everything felt magical. Simple, shared moments like these the laughter, the glow, the fireworks make Diwali feel truly special.
Even here, surrounded by misty hills and quiet streets, Diwali finds its way to shine.
